Pilea peperomioides – the “coin” plant

I love photographing flowers. And in the picture you can see: Pilea.

Pilea peperomyowata is quite inconspicuous, and at the same time a very interesting potted plant that has returned to our salons in recent years after a long break. It is colloquially called “coin” due to the shape of the leaves that resemble coins. You can also come across the term “explosive plant” because the pilea fires the ripe seeds a long distance.
